Spring Cleaning

on May 18, 2016

Alright people, winter is over and it’s time to get started on some spring cleaning. Sure, you couldpull out the ol’ duster and clear out that closet, but we’re talking about spring cleaning something much more important: your body.

Chances are the holiday season (most recently, St. Patty’s Day) has put the hurt on your body and warrants a detox. Now is the perfect time. Don’t forget that a good, detoxing cleanse starts with a healthy pre-cleanse diet to ease your body off of the sugars and carbohydrates in preparation to clean your system. Also, it doesn’t stop when the last bottle makes its way into the recycling bin. It’s the jumpstart to a hopefully long-term, healthier lifestyle.

The beauty of a spring cleanse is all the variability, giving you the ability to pick your juices based on what your body needs. So let’s start there.

  1. Select a cleanse that’s right for you. Choose between “The Detox” Cleanse, “The Electric” Cleanse or “The Custom” Cleanse. Different cleanses have different benefits, from aiding digestion to flooding your body with extra antioxidants. Our cleansing experts can help you decide which cleanse is right for you, as well as how to maximize your cleanse with some simple lifestyle choices.

  2. Set aside the time. Life doesn’t have to come to a standstill, but you should cleanse when you are relatively stress free. You can also cleanse at your own pace, choosing between a 1-day, 3-day or 5-day cleanse.

  3. Prepare mentally and physically. Starting a few days before your cleanse, avoid alcohol, caffeine, sugar, processed foods, dairy, red meat and wheat. Eat green and lean, meaning eat nutrient-dense fruits and vegetables, whole grains and eggs.

  4. Watt up! Pick up your juices in store or have them delivered to your front door.

  5. Get set, go. You’re officially certified and ready for your cleanse. Happy cleansing.
